Duncan Problems

Haven't opened in a month. Inky change was a slight increase in flow to try to combat hail algae. Phosphates spike about a month ago to .12, but then brought back down to .03 to .07 the last 3 weeks.

They still look good, just refuse to open. They were always happy and healthy for the months leading up to this. I did move them from 32g to new 200g tank but they never missed a beat. Move to new tank was about 6 months ago.

Been waiting patiently but a lil concerned now. What do we think?

Neither one of those corals looks like a duncan to me, are you sure its a duncan? Can you post a more clear picture?

Yep that's what they look like when they are extended. That's the issue mine have to extended in a few weeks. Did anyway read my post? Thanks ill get it figured out.

This is what my closed Duncan looks like. It was growing new heads and closed on me. Only closed for a 5ish day period.
Apologies for the awful picture. I am new and still learning and this was a month or so ago.

Listen fella don't get all funny , people are trying to help you out . Just saying mine looks nothing like the ones you have got open or closed . Maybe you got sold something other than a dunkan or maybe it is . We are just saying it doesn't look like a dunkan to me .

Is something crawling on them? Or is there some sort of precipitation falling on them?

I've had my duncan in low and high flow, and it's not closed. Mine has closed like that when ether my urchin or something else has crawled on or touched them; or I've accidentally knocked salt creep into the tank, and the flow blew some of the salt on them causing them to close.

It is really hard to tell in the picture.

If you turn off your lights and take a picture with out the blues on it helps.

I kept wondering why the hell can I see the tank fine but when I snap a picture it looks total different.

Welp, then lights and cameras are not friends that like to share.

Yep, the green and the blue. I posted another picture of them open. Here is video of them a few weeks ago if that helps. Just wondering if phos spike has caused this for any

one else.
