Well, at least I hope the dinos are gone!

A little background... I’ve been reefing since around 1995. I started with a 90 gallon tank, then a 120, then I transferred most everything to a 180 gallon tank on June 5, 2016. I’ve always had a mixed reef, with just a couple of acros. Well I thought I wanted a show quality acro tank so I started reading about ULN systems. Fast forward to January 2018. Small cell amphidinium dinos killed all my sps, a few fish, and a couple LPS. Since then I’ve learned about dinos, added UV, and removed my sand bed. Since about a January of 2019 (yes, one year later!), my tester acros frags finally started doing well. I got a Battlebox from Adam in April and they are doing well. So this is the rebirth!

I’ve never done anything like a build thread before. So thought I would start with a FTS from a few days ago and add more later.

Briefly my system is 180 gallons, with a relatively small skimmer in the sump, ecotech circulation pumps, an Avast K2 kalk stirrer, and lights are a combo of T5 with Kessil A360we’s.
