I set up my RSM C-130 nano reef around Thanksgiving. I had the normal diatom bloom after about 3 weeks. I've just been dealing with them (scraping out all the BIG stuff) but just waiting them out. Within the last week or so they finally started dying.

Now, I had the skimmer dialed in pretty good but now it keeps overflowing. I checked the water parameters and everything is fine, but is the skimmer going crazy due to the increased organics from the dying diatoms?

Could be, just gotta wait it out. Should be good after that.
