EB832 flipped 180 degrees?

Can I mount the EB832 upside down? The way my cabinet is set up i want it on the right side and in that case the ports will all be facing the back of the cabinet, fan facing front. Anyone know if it can be flipped 180 degrees so the ports face the front of the cabinet without issues?

Idk the effects of doing this but IIRC the instructions specifically state to install it the right way up. Also the slide-on mount is shaped such that I don't think it'll hold if its upside down.

Interested if anyone knows the reason for the directed orientation. Maybe heat management?
