Ebay Metal Halide Bulbs???

Has anyone bought any of those $19.99 MH Bulbs off Ebay? If so are they eve worth the $20?

Yes i have got them and 20k looks like 10k for mabye a month then turn reallly yellow. I would never buy them agian same with the actinics they were great for a month then dim down bad and look terrible. Do yourself a favor and just get good bulbs. I have raduim 20k and sunpaq dual actinics and love them and my corals seem to also

I had a bad experience with the 175s but the 70's in the 14k are great! Lasted about 11 months before the color starting shifting.

Growth on my nano was great with it.

I plan on using the same bulb on my new nano.

I bought a 70w 20k and its great. It was like 8 bucks shipped. Does an awesome job over my frag tank.

a friend of mine bought a 250, i believe, on ebay and it was just not even worth it
seems like the 70s are good but i wouldnt go with anything higher up

i just tried it out. Do not buy them! the bulb had burnt marks all over it and he hasnt responded since

I just got rid of some. I had the worst cyano explosion after about a month of use that I had ever seen. I did the 14k's and they litterally looked like 6500 even with actinic supplimentation. Not work even 5 dollars if you ask me
