My Blotched Borbonius Anthias has finally started showing himself after about 6 months in my LPS dominant Waterbox.

He didn’t come out until I added the three yellow tangs that are destined for my grow out tub. Who knew tangs could be great dither fish??? I guess I’ll have to leave one or two in there once that system is running.

Yes there use to be a ton of bubble algae in this system up until a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t do any maintenance on the physical display that required my hands in the tank for months because I was so paranoid about scaring the most expensive fish I’ve ever bought to death.

I was so happy to see him out after I had to take this video!

Added a bunch of SPS frags to that system and LPS frags to the other yesterday.

Things have been dialed in and stable for about 9 months now with slow coral additions in the SPS system since I decided to correct everything that went wrong in my crash, time to really stock it.

Happy 6 month birthday to my LPS display (Waterbox Infinia Frag 125.4)

In an effort to start sharing what I’m doing here, I’ve started making videos and taking more pictures for social media and forums, here’s a video of some of my torches.

I’ve been traveling for work every other week the past month so making big changes won’t be smart for at least a few more weeks.

I still need to:
-drill all the 60B’s
-build a 40B sump
-build the rack for the spawning system
-start cycling the spawning system
-recalibrate all the probes, dosing pumps, KH Director and ION Director
-start my new Calcium reactor
-start my new carbon reactor
-start UV sterilizer
-move the coral and fish QT to a better location
-switch my SPS system’s AWC to Kamor pumps
-reprogram my GHL for about 10 different things
-build the stand for the 250 gallon tub and start cycling it
-Drill, Restart and move my 40B that crashed when I was away after two anemones sacrificed themselves in powerheads. This is going to be a mixed reef my daughter will be able to see. She gets frustrated the CADE and Waterbox are so much taller than her (2 years old)

I also need lights and a few more GHL dosers, power bars and KH Directors for the tub and spawning system but no reason they can’t start cycling while I save up.

A lot of the colonies I purchased a few months ago are growing in nicely and have colored up real well. I’ll be making a post in a couple of weeks selling some frags to make room for more!
