Wondering if this is normal? He was eating like a pig for a while when i got him, almost every 3 days a whole shrimp. Now he isnt interested and just stays in his cave. Doesnt have anything on him and i cant see anything thats upseting him. Any suggestions?

I thought i saw that when i was researching. Alright. Makes me feel a little better. Thank you

Yeah i think he was just fed too much. He's looking a bit hungrier now so i might try again tonight

What have you been offering? They really need a varied diet. Chunks of fish, shrimp, scallops, octopus, crab, krill, silversides, squid, ect. It can get expensive but you should be able to get small amounts of them at the grocery store.
Squid or clams on a stick is usually irresistible to any predator.

Well he ate a little bit of a prawn i offered him. Still not a whole lot and back to being the little lazy depressed looking eel. Ill try some squid later
