Yeah, most snails in our tanks hatch into pelagic (i.e. free swimming in the water column) larvae; these starve, get eaten, filtered out, killed by equipment, etc., so there usually aren't any survivors. Some species hatch either benthic larvae (basically mini adults that crawl around like normal snails) or - in some exceptional cases - both benthic and pelagic larvae.You are certainly welcome!
