Found these eggs on my candy cane frag, put the frag in a kreisel tank and will se what hatched out. Anyone got any idea? I don’t have breeding pair of any known fish/invert. My money is on some kind of snail. Any suggestions?

That’s got me for sure. Anyone
Still keeping them under surveillance, I know there is a type of snail in the tank that I find in all sizes so I know they reproduce in there somehow, might just be those eggs I found. But doesn’t look like the snaileggs I been able to google my way to.

a large help would be a list of tank inhabitants.
It’s in the sump. This is what lives there for now:
Have a few snails i dont know the name of, a few turban snails, one mexican turbo and one Nassarus snail. A green wrasse, a yellow tang and a blue tang. Two clowns, a boxer shrimp and a Lysmata cleaner shrimp. A bunch of coral frags and an aptasia or two. Surely there is more things living in there that I don’t know about, like all the different starfish and worms etc.

Looks like snail capsules, either cerith or nerite. My first guess was shrimp but they carry their eggs.

Im suspecting some of my snails has come in thru the back door via water changes or Plankton from the ocean. Just discovered today my Wild plankton tank had some kind of clam that had just came out of metamorphosis. So if it’s one of these wild species it opens up for more speculation (live in Norway). I’m still betting snails but in a few days we will see what comes out.
