SCIENTIFIC NAME - Pseudocheilinus octotaenia

COMMON NAME – Eightline Wrasse

SIZE – 5.5 in (14 cm)

MIN. AQUARIUM SIZE - 30 gal (113 L)

FOODS AND FEEDING - Should be fed a variety of high quality marine meaty foods. Will also eat other crustaceans.

REEF COMPATIBILITY – With caution, may eat ornamental shrimp.

CAPTIVE CARE –These fish do better with other aggressive fish. They can be kept with other wrasses, but not ones of the same genus or similarly shaped or colored. The can be used to keep pest pyramid snails under control. Wrasses are known jumpers so the aquarium top should be covered.
