Have had this guy in my tank for around 4 months with no problems and then today after the weekend I came into the office to him mostly closed up and very little improvement after 6 hours. Not really sure why. No new additions or changes in lighting. Water parameters are salinity 1.026, DKH 8, calcium 400, nitrates undetectable (however, I do have hair algae) and phosphates are undetectable.

My anemone did move I wonder if it got stung?

My elegance looks very similar to yours and it does that every now and then. As long as it goes back to normal in a couple of days and is not shrinking or receding more to the skeleton, you should be ok!

Hopeful it will be back to normal soon. I did a 5g water change today.

Good news elegance coral is starting to look better again. He isn't completely out but much better than before. Goes to show sometimes doing nothing other than normal maintenance/ water changes is the best thing to do.
Thank you all for the help.

my elegance does this all the time. Sometimes mine does it when it digests snails, then it just spits the shell out. Those anemones and the elegance will grow fast and will probably sting each other soon in such a small tank so I would be ready for that

Yeah my green loves to move around. All my others have stayed put for a while now. Hopefully I can get him to settle down or I'll rehome him to a bigger tank.
