I'm running a 32 gallon Biocube with the stock LED lighting. I've had an elegance coral sitting on the sand bed for probably a month or so with no real issues to speak of, then it started not opening on one side for a few days, so I figured that due to the lighting, I'd probably need to move it higher. I moved it halfway up in the tank and it's now doing just a little bit better I think. It still takes longer to open in the morning and it has a lot of white filament on itself(which I've heard that with elegances, that's not a good sign), but that filament goes away as the day goes on. All my other coral is doing fine, and my water parameters are good. Is this the curse of the Elegance? I've heard stories about people with healthy elegance corals that just decide to recede and die for no reason.

From what I've seen its the start of it going south when the fingers stop extending. Try moving it around, maybe lower light and a higher more indirect flow. It's not gone yet
