Elegance questions....

Question..... what does it mean when an Elegance keeps it tentacles short and stubby with almost bubbles on the end? Does it mean its unhappy, or can this be normal?

Could they react like this if the PAR is too high?

I've had this guy about six months or so and has done pretty well.... but has more of a short stubby look the last few weeks rather than the more open look he typically has.

I just wondered if I needed to be concerned and start looking for problems, or if this could be normal behavior.

I do not know definitively.

I would say if its the same as its always been and seems happy, I'm not sure I'd worry all that much.

How much light and what sort of flow is it in?

Light prob a little on the high side….120-150 par…… ish.

Moderate flow. It moves but definitely doesn’t get blown all around.

I don't think that's too high for light.

I'd move it in to a little more flow. I have two that are thriving, they are in medium flow.

I would not be worried. Mine change daily.

Mine was a little unhappy , found a crab living in it! Lol but honestly mine was a little shriveled but once I moved it into higher flow it’s much happier and fully extended
