Emerald crab Killed GSP

My emerald crab was munching on my GSP and killed it but I have been feeding him brine shrimp and mysis shrimp so what should I do

Are you 100% sure it killed your GSP? Was your GSP happy/polyps extended prior to it eating it? Or was it closed up and unhappy?

I think critters sometimes get blamed for eating corals, but they are really cleaning up dead/dying coral.

If you are feeding your emerald crab, I would recommend nori or something that is seaweed based.

Yeah it was fine before it full died ripped pieces were in the place of where my emerald crab hides

Return to the LFS or see if a local reefer wants it. May need to use a trap or put nori on a clip at the bottom of your tank and once it goes for it pull it out.

Is it possible that it was just eating the algae and accidentally ripped off some GSP? In my experience GSP is hard to kill. Was this a tiny frag of it?
