So evil?? Should I take him out because he is doing everything exactly like my other emerald. He even looks the exact same except for the color.

Look close at it's pincers - flat like an Emerald, or sharp?

After close examination the pinchers are the same as my emerald crab I already have that is normal color. These two pics are crap but the best I can do with a phone camera.

Crabs are tricky. just when you think one is going to behave, they will start eating your favorite coral or fish will start to disappear. I have had several that were considered "reef safe" only to wreak havoc in my tank. Now I only go with tried and true like emeralds. Also blue leg hermits, but they will sometimes take out snails.

I'm a big fan of crabs in the tank, but I treat mine like fish rather than CuC. Without better photos I can't really ID this guy though.

Crabs are all evil in my opinion. I go to great lengths to remove them 100% from my tank. But he does look cool with those white claws.

He is also known as the Banded Clinging Crab and loves to hang out by anemones if my research is correct. My little guy also hangs out with my nem so seems to me this is exactly what I have.

Yup, they're really cool guys. All mithrax (clinger) crabs are cool. The living with a nem behavior is especially interesting.

I used to have an Emerald share a RBTA with a Maroon Clown once. Definitely a weird relationship there.
