Emerald Crab Turned White

Have not seen my crab in 6 months finally saw it in the tank at night with a flash light, it’s turned white! I’ve never seen this, gave him some seaweed to munch on and have been dropping seaweed pellets in the tank at night, they are gone ever morning. What’s up with the white color? Not enough food?

It could be getting ready to molt. That's about my only guess!
