Emerald Crab

I am trying to remove my emerald crabs from my tank because I just bought a torch and I think the emerald crab is snapping the glowing ends off.

My question and it maybe silly.....

Is there away to draw them put from wherever they are without destroying my rock work? I know they are always hiding, but I have 3 I want to remove.

Have you actually seen your emeralds doing this? I would doubt they are snipping ends off your torch however you should be able to net them when they are out in the open or maybe try a trap. there are commercial traps available or you can try leaning a small glass with some food in it against your rock work at a 45 degree angle.. if the crab goes in for the food he won’t be able to climb back up the smooth glass walls of the cup.

I have not seen them do this, but have seen several of the torches ends floating around.
