My friend has an aquarium all of the parameters are perfect, it’s a 40 gallon, healthy corals, but the fish started to die off. I just came over and now a clownfish is missing! So far he has lost 7 fish in the last 2 weeks… how is that possible, is there something eating them? To top it all off there are NO body’s and there is no place to hide and nowhere to jump out! I need your help!!!

I’m skeptical that all of the parameters are perfect when fish are disappearing from the tank. They don’t typically evaporate so something is out of whack.

Picture might help get a better answer than this.

No bodies? Is there a CUC? Bristle worms? They will make a body gone pretty quick.

“Parameters” is a buzz word.

If your friend has a predatory crittter in the tank then I would sugggest the “parameters” are off badly for keeping fish, by definition.

I lose fish, usually new additions and often they vanish completely. My fish eat them, or the anemones and I have no idea about parameters n the tank.
