help my finnex heater is not working i can home today to find my corals in destress the finnes heater wont come on the green power light stays on buy the red on for the temp wont come on at all even if i turn it all the way up to 90 degrees the water temp is 65 degress any one ever experience this with those heaters is thier anythin i can do to check it or do i have to buy a whole new heater all power cords pluged in and tried several outlets but wont turn on

fill you a milk jug up with hot water and set in there

thnaks going to go get a temporary on right now im ticked the heater is only 4 months old thanks for youre imput

I would do a water change as well with water at a slightly warmer temp to raise it over time... Don't raise it too high too fast as that sort of stress is just as bad or worse after the first drop in temp!

thanks all new heater in place and slow temp rising back to normal im hopeing for the best

my finnexes crap out about every four months too, definitely not good heaters at all in my opinion

i guess so now i need to find a good heater just bought a heater to get me by so what are the good heaters out thier i thought finnex was the best

I thought so too, guess that's why I keep replacing them every four months, lol


not sure what are any good cheap ones though...

im looking for a good reliable one i can count on i just put a temporary on in thier for now but want to get a really good one to put in thier any ideas
