I'd like to use a magnet under saltwater. Can I layer super glue (cyanoacrylate) on it too encase it, making it water proof and safe for aquarium?

If so, any tips on how to do it? What can it rest on while in the process of layering so I can flip it over to do the other side? Are any materials non-stick to super glue so I can rest it on top of?

Or are there water safe magnets that are inexpensive?

You cannot encase anything in super glue as it will not set.

You could use a reef safe 2 part epoxy

I didn't understand the "will not set" part. Would the super glue not just harden and encase the magnet? I can do it outside of water, let it sit for a few days?

Use ceramic magnet
