A few little know facts about Bob Ross...

He was a medical assistant in the USAF for most of his military career.

He was stationed at the base in Anchorage, AK for many years.

His son, Steve, is also an accomplished painter and appeared as guest host in several episodes of The Joy Of Painting.

He swore, on his discharge from the military, that he would never yell at anyone again.

His trademark perm hairstyle, was a result of a cost saving choice when he began his civilian life. "Haircuts were too expensive"

He hated the perm hairstyle that became his trademark.

He was a dedicated animal lover, and fostered MANY infant animals what otherwise would have died in nature.


Edit: Bob lost the tip of his left first finger in an accident while working as a carpenter for his father. If you watch closely, you can see the missing finger part in various parts of his show.

@Zoanthids , Hi. First off great sale this weekend, had lots of fun and got some super looking corals. With that said is there any way to get just a few higher end pieces in the frag pack that I won ? My tank’ll be bursting already and unless I buy a condo duplex for the corals I’m afraid they might not all fit. If the pack is already set, I’ll figure a way, just thought I’d ask. Thanks
