Remember this. Unless there is NO and I mean absolutely no tissue left zoas can come back. Leave plug in tank blow off with turkey baster to keep algae film from forming even brush lightly with soft tooth brush and in a month you’ll have a new polyp
Thanks for the advice! I did read the thread about the guy who thought they were all dead. I'm more excited than nervous! But I wanna prove I can do softies before anything else.

I have several plugs with what I like to call zombie polyps

You got this! Xenia, GSP, and toadstool leathers have been indestructible for me. Ive had zoas from the very beginning too. That’s the best part about zoas, someone who’s had their tank for a week loves them and someone who’s had a tank for 30 years loves them :D

Just starting myself. I have a toadstool and now buying a few zoas. Low risk, relatively easy and great colors. Can’t wait,
