Engineer goby behavior

[canadian reefer]

I was hasty in buying this guy but I had bought a friends entire set up and it was the only thing left, so I took him home knowing he would dig under my rocks.

My question is, will he dig everywhere or if I leave him be where he is, will he behave?

I use a razor scraper thingy to level out my sand in the front of the tank. He dogs it forward, I level it. Soon he won't have any more to dig and we'll be fine. Lol. It's not too bad.

My engineer:
He made an ever changing tunnel system under every rock I have.
He stole the flow director off my powerhead and buried it under 110lbs of rock b
He steals my frags and uses them for structural support.
He also eats shrimps and small fish.
Luckily I planned for one so my rocks are glued solid. He's also a fairly rapid grower.
