My pond is going by reef rules with flow. It makes the fish so happy!
Here's a dirty crap shot of a filling murky pond

The water level will be high enough that the bottom outlet is submerged. Right now the neighbors hate me lol

That's gonna be awesome! I would love to have a koi pond. Would love to see the progression and final outcome!

It will be a slow one for sure. For I have a $0 budget for it haha.

Its got water but it ain't pretty yet. Lol. Right now I'm pretty much just growing grass around it to keep the mud down.
Oh and I have a hosta growing in te dirty corner where the neighbors fence meets my other neighbors garage.

These are just some rocks to temporarily give it some flare. Don't mind the spout...that's just temporary while I build my garden beds. I'll probably just use the beds for bait. I go fishing every day unless it is raining.

When I finally buy a decent sized liner I will make the "river pool" but right now it is just a trench full of junk. Eventually there will be no white PVC exposed and the pond will have a fish or 2.
