Hey all, currently in the process of curing my Australian live rock unique corals. It's going in my first tank - a 3g pico tank, and I'm visualizing what aquascape I want to do. A few of the pieces look like they would make amazing shelves, but the bases are uneven and I really want to treat them gently. Should I just do the glue/epoxy/glue if I want to add a magnet? Or would just super gluing the magnet be good enough? I have a few on the way from KJs already.

My other question, one of the pieces is very cool and branching that I'd like to place vertically on the bottom of the tank, but I have a very shallow sandbed. Would super gluing the base to the glass stabilize it while also being non permanent?

I really want to maintain the ability to remove all rock for cleaning and I'm feeling just stacking might be a little boring.

What's the difference between curing it in the bucket vs your tank?
Yes I would glue 2-3 pieces together to make a removable structure for wcs and so you can swish the rock around in old sw to remove detritus. Id add a bubbler for flow.

Curing in the bucket just makes water changes a breeze and I don't have to worry about the sand.

Gluing using epoxy and superglue? I just hesitate to do anything too permanent if that makes sense.

Prob a good hr or 2.
I wouldn't want them going too dry.
If its.live rock it will most.likely.have live critters.and corals.on it.

Yea I believe it will. TBS has some great live rock, from what I've read in here actually. I may just try to get away with not gluing. Thanks.
