I have a standard 10g tank it’s not a cube running a simple hob seachem tidal 35 with a heater and live rocks I also have a small wavemaker what piece of equipment should I get something that won’t break the bank I currently don’t have the space for a sump or canister I was hoping to spend about 60-70 dollars so nothing crazy also something I can get in a lfs or petsmart/co

One thing I'll mention here is that you seem like you have $60 burning a hole in your pocket, and your looking to spend it on your tank. I would suggest that instead of thinking about it that way, consider what your tank needs. You don't need every piece of gear or gadget on the market, you already have the basics.

An ATO is a solid choice here, especially if you want to keep corals, but less important if you want a simple invert tank or even a small fish or two.

If you let us know more about what you want to do with this tank, others may be better able to guide you here :)

Good luck!

Ato for sure in a tank that small just a little evaporation can cause an unnecessary salinity swing.

Another piece of beneficial equipment could be a protein skimmer. I run a bubble magus hang on and it does a great job.

I'm going to vouch for an ATO as well. They are nice quality of life things to have, as I would forget to top off my tank without one, haha.

One thing I would consider is an ATO to account for evaporation. What you need shouldn't cost too much for a tank that size.
Do you have any you would recommend also how would I mount it I want water to be at the rim cause it’s a rimmed tank

Its very easy to cut a small wedge into the lip of the rim. I've had to do it to all my rimmed tanks to fit something or other.

I have a tunze that clamps right on the tank rim. Unfortunately it's a larger tank and pretty far out of your price range. I believe they make a nano model that would work for you but not that cheap. Check on Amazon.

Is this one good I decided I’ll increase my budget a little more but now I gotta figure out how to cut the rim

I'm not familiar with this product but reef breeders typically makes quality products. I have one of their lights. Might not have to cut the frame. They are a sponsor here and you can ask them directly in the sponsor forum.
