Eshopps psk-150 help

I just purchased eshopps psk-150. When putting the venture on the pump. It looks like something is missing. The head of the pump is treaded. If I slide the venture on the pump as showing in the instructions the pump stops pumping water and there are no bubles. When I remove the venture from the pump. The flow on the pump is strong. What am I missing. I have attached pics of parts I have received. *
