Eshopps RS100. Let me keep the same plumbing, since the main bulkhead is in the same place. Lowered the 'uncleanable' sections to just one... yeah, it's the same one you had a problem with, the splashdown area. Still there, just as big a hassle if something gets in there. Lost the undersized refugeum area and the completely inaccessible return pump compartment in favor of a larger 7" sock, larger skimmer area, larger, easier to clean sponge before the return compartment, larger return pump area... which I drilled for an external pump.

As I said, there were several reasons for the change.

I'm still working on it. Need to organize the electrical again, I've got some 1/2" ID silicone tube that's going to replace the stiff poly tube on the BRS reactor, might be mounting a macro algae reactor in the front/right corner. Space is at a premium...


Nice set-up. I have used every inch of space I have.
