Cleaning my HOB Eshopps skimmer today, I bumped this deflector piece that sits above the outlet pipe and it popped off. Definitely no way I'm getting it back on there.. Should I be concerned? TIA!

Do you think you could reattach it with Weldon?

Do you think you could reattach it with Weldon?

I'm not sure on that - looks like trying to build a boat in a bottle.. I'll take more of a look today and get a note out to Eshopps as well to see what they think on any operational effects to run without..

I don’t have a HOB but it looks like that’s just a deflector to prevent micro bubbles exiting. You should be ok without it if you can’t glue it back. Only way to find out…run it. Haha
+1

gel superglue from dollar store will restore this in a hurry but not essential to operation

Reached out to rep with pico here, only thing i can give is when and if the black abs and the acrylic start to seep,as they tend to do after a few years.
weld on #16 was recommended... ;)

Appreciate the replies! I'll have to see about sourcing some Weld-On up here, I do have a myriad of glues around somewhere though.. We're in the middle of moving now, livestock in totes for 6 days - ready to get this tank back up and running!

Amazon now, may take a few extra days to get up there... ;)
BTW, is your avatar a pic you have taken ??

only seen a few x , but raised the hair on the back of my neck , just breathtaking... :)

It's one of the most amazing things in the world to watch. How big they are and fast they move is ridiculous. Truly beautiful.

One more for size perspective..
