Hi,

I have had a gorgonian in my tank since 2022. The colony is getting quite large now and need of a hair cut. Has anybody fragged this particular animal, does it survive fragging and what is the best way of cutting it?

Thanks for looking

Julian

Wire strippers.
Snip where ever you like.
Use wire strippers on the bottom 1/4" to strip the flesh off. Leave the inner stalk.
Drill a tiny hole in a rock and super-glue the stalk in. Don't put superglue on the flesh. The flesh will grow down to the rock.
