How do you guys get your euphyllia to stay attached to your rockwork? Every so often I will go to look at my tank and fin that one of my hammers has somehow come unattached (looking at you tuxedo urchin) and is now chilling in the sand. (Luckily they’ve all been fine) it’s especially a problem for my one gamer that started off as a tiny stalk and head, but has multiplied to several heads, all way thicker than the original.

Are you applying a liberal amount of glue? I have 3 urchins and they do not knock over my LPS on the rocks.

There are a bunch of products that are made for this, some specifically for aquariums and others for automobiles. I find the ones that dry grey (not specific to aquariums) or the ones made for aquariums work good. The ones that dry white don't harden properly ime (of the not made for Aquariums options). It seems that there are a few colors available in both aquarium & non-aquarium applications, color obviously added for sales purposes.

Super glue also works, gels are bettter. Both can be mixed. Oh, and lots of times the epoxy can make your skimmer go foamy for a bit. Fish and corals don't seem to mind whatever glue..

i have giant, 30 head + colonies and all i use is ecotech glue. takes a couple minutes of holding in place for heavy pieces. but they stay put. ill never use anything else
