Euphyllia brighter shortly after feeding

Hi guys, I've got a little colony of a green euphyllia, probably a frogspawn. Today was the first time I fed it (only had it 8 days) and about 3 hours later it's a lot more fluorescent than usual. I can see him from across the room right now. Is this common?

Thank you. I am relatively new at this . one year after setting up my first reef tank. My hubby and I realized that the torches and frogspawn needed more room. So we bought a small Waterbox. 40 . 2
just a skimmer and a ai prime. Bought each of these as 3 heads for less than twenty dollars. My they have grown!
