So I have these muscles or clams of some sort that have been slowly multiplying in my tank. Today I noticed one covered in sponge that is suspended in a cave by what looks like a mucous web. Has anyone seen this before? I thought these animals attached a foot to rock and never moved. I posted clear pictures of some of them in better light since I can’t get a good pic of the weird guy.

The mucus net could be from vermatid snails. I’ve had those muscles growing on snails before… pretty cool!

Here’s some better pics

This doesn’t look the same as the vermetid mucous web. I know the pictures don’t do it justice but its like some Spider-Man stuff going on in there. There’s two webs coming from it in an almost v shape attached to the rock it’s hanging from.
