Hello! My name is Brandon. I have been reefing for a decade and like many folks in the hobby, I have learned through both successes and failures. I began with a biocube in 2008 after nagging my wife relentlessly to try saltwater. After a few years, I upgraded to a 76 gal. sps dominant tank. I enjoyed the challenge but struggled to keep it healthy having a newly born child to care for.
I currently keep a 240 gal. LPS dominated reef that began as a FOWLR tank but I couldn't stand the sight of bare live-rock. I am really enjoying the hobby more than ever and can't wait to learn more and contribute when possible.
