Similar to Chris' issue, I used as directed and lost a wrasse, rock beauty angel and orange diamond goby. Essentially anything that picked at the sand or hid/fed from the sand died. My lfs used it as well and lost the livestock in several of his tanks, again, fish that feed or hide in the sand. I don't know if I got a bad batch, or just got lucky when I used it before, but I will never use it again. I used UltraLife Red Slime stain remover last time as directed and had zero losses. Didn't have to shut off the skimmer either.

Do not do it if you have SPS corals!!!!! I used half the dose and it killed all of my acros! It is not reef safe completely. I also lost my mystery wrasse and purple tang. I called Boyd enterprises on it and they have terrible customer service! I am so upset about I am thinking of hiring an attorney to sue them.
How did that turn out?

Killed everything in my tank. 20 year reefer followed the directions within 12 hours. I was starting to have fish loss and coal loss immediately did a 50% water change huge ammonia spike. Kill all but one fish smoked all the coral now I’m fighting out recycle of my tank.
I recently used it on my 75 gallon full sps, clams, lps, softies. Worked great and did not have one loss. I only used half the recommended amount since I'm not sure of the rock displacement in my tank. My skimmer impeller went bad and even after fixing it the cyano wouldn't go away. It kept getting worse and was getting on some of my sps and killing them. I wasn't having any nutrient issues either. Heavy skimming, lots of water changes, new RO/DI filters, GFO, I tried everything and the cyano kept coming. A friend recommended the Chemiclean and I used it with good sucess. My tank has been great sinc
