Expired frozen food?

I bought some frozen food for my clowns left the lfs, and noticed it expires tmw, and the other one doesnt even have expiration date. Should i throw it away?

If it was food I’d had for a while I’d still use it. If I had just bought it I’d be annoyed and get the store to exchange it for some the isn’t as old.

I just checked my frozen foods, my most recent purchase is good till Sept 2025.

Personally I would be concerned about a store that had food (or anything) on its shelf for 2 years. To me, it indicates low traffic, and you just found out why. I would not go back to a store that sold me 2 year old frozen product.

Agree with above. I'd use it in the next month, but would probably look for a source that has a better rotation or product movement.

Whats best by then?

Best by is the latest the manufacturer can guarantee it stays fresh. After that, they're not responsible if it goes stale, spoiled, bland, etc.
