So I have a harlequin shrimp, that I have had for a couple year. About a month ago I put a choc chip star fish in for him and within 2 days the star fish had melted and he didnt get to eat much. So a few days later I bought another and the same thing happened...and another after that. please help I would hate to loose my shrimp

Try using a Linckia laevigata aka blue sea star. I find them to be generally hardier than other stars and they are slightly cheaper too :)
