What do you test your Alk with? Do you do weekly water changes? If so what salt mix do you use?

My thought exactly. How often do you do water changes? Red Sea Coral Pro has pretty high alk or so I believe. Could your Wc's be replenishing the alk?

No the alk test kit is red sea pro. Wc is not the source.

Sorry, misread. Just a thought but maybe do a few to bring up some of the trace element levels. Or maybe an icp-oes test?

It always comes back to doing weekly water changes. BRS tried to convince us that it’s not necessary... but they learned the hard way with there LPS and SPS dominant LMS. That you probably can’t avoid them

An ICP test may shed some light in your issue. Heavy, unwanted metals will negatively impact growth and can slowly kill corals. Tin. zinc, and lead can be a problem if excessively high. Water changes may not solve the issue either until you find the source.
