A couple new carribeans.

Zeppelin's Carribean Ice. ;) This has a thick, white mat. Polyp is a light, ice blue.

Light Blue ring with a pale yellow mouth

Thanks I ended up with 7 colonies of them 5 with green mouths and 2 with white mouths.when the others get out of qt I will post some of the white ones.

That looks really close if not the same thing.I think the ones on zoaid are under different lights and have had time to actlimate to there home.I have a small frag myself that is not doing so good.I hope it will pull through.

It is hard to be a hobbyist and a retailer at the same time.I find myself not wanting to keep alot of the zoas that come in. :( Have you got any of the blue with green skirt aka Blue Orgasim yet?

yup randy, got those a few times. i've seen about 5-6 shades of true true blue zoas. the rest i consider phonies due to them needing actinic to pull out the blue color.

the blue/green skirts were one of the suprise zoas in the frag packs that went out early on. i should have kept a few of those for a personal collection. imo, blue green skirt color morph looks better than the blue and red skirt zoas by a long shot. the polyps are alot larger as well..

i got some interesting large irridescent colored zoa polyps mixed in with a green colony. i'm going to try to frag it out of it and grow those out. i can't really say what color it is because it has so many diffrent depending on what angle you look at it.

Hey Sam, I snagged a rock of those Asterina looking ones recently too. Haven't checked closely with the ZoaID pics, but that was my first thought as well.

Save some of those iridescent ones for trade, man. I'll send you some stuff! :)

why is all the cool zoas are mixed with others.Here is Royal Blue with white center zoas that I fraged from a colony.The pictures are crap but you can see the true color of the zoa.

here is a few in the mix that are open.

and here is a frag of the few that I have removed from the colony 1 polyp at a time.

Isn't it fun for you retail guys... you don't have to settle for just nice, you can go for nice *and* uncommon :) Might as well, since there's not enough room to keep every nice one you find, hahaha.
