here's one I've had for a while but haven't gotten to taking a decent shot... it's really unique coz of the metallic sprinkles in the polyps.. I call it sprinkles coz of that...

waited for these guys to settle before posting pics.. they were in my holding tank for more than a month, I think.. got 4 polyps initially but two didn't open much for the first weeks.. after much waiting, they finally started opening and in the meantime, one baby popped up.. :)

Marv how long have you had thise rastas?? Whats your growth rate on them?

I have had mine for 2 months and have already fragged it. I have a 16 polyp frag and a 10 polyp frag. I'm seeing 3 new baby polyp on each every week to 2 weeks.

wow Steve... you're doing a great job on them... they are absolutely one of my favorite zoas... I've only had them for probably 2 or 3 weeks... they were in my holding tank at work w/ only PC lighting... they are 10x better under my display tank with MH.. I hope to have the same growth rate as you.. keep up the good work on them.. they're going to be real good trade baits.. ;)

mine were under 96w PC for the first week or two.. recently moved them to the display tank couple of days ago... started out with 2 (2 polyps) frags on a rubble rock... one frag wasn't doing great at all.. the other two polyps were open right away.. in the span of one week, the others that weren't doing well started showing progress... about 2 weeks later all 4 plus 1 new baby polyp were ready to go in the display... since then, I've noticed another baby polyp... so in about 2 to 2 1/2 weeks, I've seen one polyp each from my 2 frags... kinda cool IMO...

btw, my main lighting in my display tank is 250w MH SE w/ 15k XM's or 10k Blueline.. I just switched back to 15k again... I'll be keeping it until I get my 20k XM's...
