Falco hawkfish

I have a Falco added from a friends tank that he had to break down. In for 3 weeks now and no issues. However, he is in a 210g with mostly mature fish. He keeps to his own and holds his own since my others like to pick on newbies. I also have a lawnmower blenny from same person and is doing great. My tang takes offense to him, but expected that since they eat similar stuff. My tang did that with my old lawnmower too.

The Falco was a great addition. He is fun to find and watch move about. I do not have any shrimp though. My large christmas wrasse takes care of those. At least the peppermint. The blood red I had died after having him over 6 years. Great shrimp!
Thanks for sharing your experience so far! I'm still debating whether to get one or not. I'd like to keep my peppermint shrimp, they have completely destroyed the aptaisia

So I'm going to rehome the pixy hawkfish , I've just seen too much harassment to the Watanabe angels . One had a scale missing the other day, and I've seen him zoom up and bite the smaller one. They may not all be this way, but just had read up on them eating smaller fish, and he's got to go. Oh well , lesson learned .

And another

He looks mean

Flame and longnose hawks are much better behaved.

Yeah, I'm learning that pixy are less enjoyable and more aggressive. The lfs guy didn't know the difference and neither did I!
