I get a high PH alarm about 3 times a week showing my PH is outside of my required range. It shows the number around 8.36 on my alarm text. If I look at my PH numbers in Fusion, nothing shows higher than 8.1. Has anybody seen this? Trying to figure out why I am getting a false alarm, without any indication that the PH probe ever registered anything near the number the text is reporting.

My apex jr did this with the TEMP probe once. After updating the value and resave, it was fine.

do you have an alk dosing line nearby? just a thought but maybe it's registering the high PH for a really short time frame and then it drops back down. maybe it's so quick it doesn't show on the graph either.

Hmmm......that is a good point.... I do...I wonder if it is able to register so quick that it doesn't register in teh apex at all, like you said. I think if that was the case though it would be going off all night as ALK is being dosed. This seems to be a one time thing, each night. Something to think about though.

Check the logs - if it's a spurious reading (related to Alk dosing or otherwise,) you can add a defer statement on your alarm outlet to delay turning it on for a specified time (i.e. Defer 000:05 Then ON will make sure the specified alarm condition is present for at least 5 seconds before turning on the alarm outlet and sending the alarm.)

this, I had that issue a few times when dosing and it was such a short state that the graph wasn't displayiong it but it was just long enough to trigger the alarm.
