Family vacation!

Hello fellow reefers, I will be taking a family vacation to Fort Walton Beach/Destin Florida in June, and am looking to visit a LFS while I am there in the area. The one I have found from a simple Google search is Elite Aquatics of NWF. It seems to have really good reviews and pictures! Does anyone have information on this place? Thanks! :)

I live in Navarre, and the LFS around here aren't great. (Especially compared to the ones I've been to in Houston.)

Elite Aquatics and SB Reefs (in Pensacola) are probably the two biggest ones. This is a smaller LFS in Fort Walton, and while they don't have a lot of SW fish/corals they are probably the "cleanest" shop in the area: https://www.facebook.com/BluewaterZoo/

Sounds like I will have to stop by SB reefs for a souvenir on the way home from our trip. As far as Elite Aquatics NWF, I will definitely be checking that place out too. Thanks for the info! @Humblefish :)

Bluewater Zoo is currently moving and opening a new store. Their grand opening is sometime in March.

Are they still going to be in that area? We just recently tweeked our plans so that we could include Disneyworld! If I get a chance to visit WWC and TSA while I’m there, I will be in heaven. o_O

Like I said before, they didn't have much SW at the old store (but maybe that will change at the new location?), but the owners are very nice people. Their LFS reminds me of the good ol' days.

Yes, they just moved to a different area in Fort Walton Beach.
