Has anyone had a pair of striped fang blennys (Meiacanthus grammistes) in their tank? How did it work out? I had one months ago and he went carpet surfing and I would love to try a pair.

Pairs can be tricky, sometimes they work out, sometimes one will be aggressive toward the other. Getting smaller specimens helps.

I would recommend either buying an established pair or pairing in a qt where you can remove one if it doesn't work. As far as I know these guys don't do the whole sex change thing so you just have to be lucky to get m/f or have a large enough system for a dominant and sub to each have territory.
