Hello,

I have this favia that is maybe outgrowing his rock and this one piece is essentially dangling by a thread and I was curious if I could just literally use an xacto knife to cut off that piece and glue onto a small rock.

Thank you.

Have you fragged it off yet?

I did thanks. It went ok. Shrank quite a bit when I cut it off and had some trouble getting it to stay on the frag plug. It's on a rock now and not sure how well it's doing but hopefully it makes it!

Small corals can be tricky. Hopefully yours will do OK... it takes time.

I have tiny Rock Flower Anemones that are over a year old and aren't much bigger than a paly polyp.
