Anyone have a coral encrusted tank ornaments and what is your encrusting coral of choice and why? This is my cyphastrea encrusted cross. I chose cyphastrea because they do a good job getting full coverage.

Update? How is your cross looking years later? I'm curious how long it would take to fully encrust my mermaid figure which is about 5-6 inches tall and the growth pattern/direction. Should I place on lower part (her tail) expecting it to encrust upwards? Or start on top and encrust downwards? Thank

Leptoseris is doing a great job of encrusting my overflow which was an eyesore before. I decided to make it a focal point by adding two bright orange corals to cover it
