Looks pretty normal from that pic. With these animals it’mostly impossible to gauge their health by looking at them, aside from if they are falling apart or something like that.

The good news. He hasn't dropped any feathers. The not sure news, he had decided to stay there maybe cuz of flow. The bad news. The other star is not doing so good.

Can I ask if fishes perching on the star will kill it? My fuzzy lion always either sleeps on it or hosts it like a clownfish. The star isn't closing up so isn't scared of the fishes touch. Is this bad?

What other fish do you have? I had a lion fish that would pick at starfish. Can we get a full tank picture?

I have the Commensal Squat Lobster that perch on my Crinoids and Amphipods seem to steal food from them. The Lobsters and the Amphipods have no ill effects on the Crinoid.
