Feeding Frenzy!!!

So the other night I went to admire the tank as I do many times during the course of the day, and as I walked into the room I noticed massive amounts of activity. When I sat down next to the tank I noticed it was a FEEDING FRENZY! There were hundreds if not thousands of what im guessing were pods swimming around and being gobbled up. I was so amazed I didn't think to grab the camera :frusty: Now my question is does this happen every night or was it just some kind of pod bloom. It happened at about 11:30 at night and lights out are at 8 daylight 9 actinic! Also would I be ok in getting green Manderin with all that pod activity?

I would say something in your tank is breeding and hatched out that night. Maybe shrimp or something?

Yea thats what i was hoping to hear but the shrimp thing sounds more plausible.
