I have tried three groups of Anthias. My tank was already occupying many tangs, gobies and an assortment of other reef safe fish. I NEVER got one of my Anthias males or females to eat. I acclimated longer than required, had groups of at least four females to my one terminal male, and I did this every time. Fish seemed happy came out swam around but never ate. I made sure they ate in the shop before bringing them home. Tried different types of food even live mysis and live brine nothing. I think it was just the other fish stressing them out during feeding so I think when I set up my 500g cube which will have a massive Anthias colony of several types I will add them first then the tangs and more aggressive fish but it would be nice to see success stories on them!

Quarantine. Get them feeding on their own before introducing them to the other fish.
