Lost the mandarin yesterday. He was showing spots, so I assume he just succumbed. Tomini tang is close to spot free, rabbit still has spots but has been slowly and steadily been getting better. Not gonna say I'm out of the woods yet, but things seem to be sorting themselves out.

I went thrpugh that recently it started in november last year.. a fish i got from petco had something nasty ich or velvet... whatever it was fish would die in 3 days... refusing to tear down my tsnk id keep buying new fish over and over... evebtually after 3 more months of constantly seeing fish get spots and dying in a week or less i decided to bite the nullet. I took all my corals out and put them in a 20g L tsnk with all my snails and urchins.

The fish i did have left i started to do hyposalinity and copper together... I did this for a month. The copper i only did for 2 weeks though... zi got my fish i wanted slowrly and the tank was in hypo for like 2 months total.. I just recently put it back in normal salinity and put my corals in.

So far its been like 3 weeks and i havent see n anymore white spots. Cross my fingers..

I hope i never have to deal with that again.. its terrible and very expensive...

Sounds like progress Dug! I hope it all works out. I sorry about the mandarin, they are really hard fish to keep. If you're ever in the Minneapolis area and need anything let me know.

Funny, the last fish I added was the cleaner goby from PETCO. He had been in their system for a month. 2 weeks in my QT and not even 2 weeks in DT and I get the ich....

Mine was doing well, I had/have a ton of pods, he was pretty fat. Will hit you up next time I'm headed up there. All the corals you gave me (besides the chalice) are doing great!
